Welcome! Here are the nuts-and bolts details about membership to our farm, followed by some background and philosophy should you wish to learn a little more.
We grow with natural inputs only – no poisons. You can join anytime during the season, however, and we will simply subtract the percentage amount from the fee based on how much of the season has elapsed.
The cost is $600 for a full share this year or $300 for a half-share, both commencing in mid June or so, depending on the given year. You can pay this all up-front or in installments. This season, general examples of what we plan to grow would include beets, radishes, carrots, potatoes, parsnips, garlic, various salad greens, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, peas, chard etc…
A full share is roughly what a small family might eat in a week per delivery, a half share would likely be more appropriate for an individual or lighter eating couple. We strive to offer fair organic scale market value for the types of produce we offer.
An “egg-option” – ½ dozen to full dozen eggs weekly as available can be requested. Eggs are paid for separately at pick-up on an “as received” basis.
We include a newsletter with information about what’s happening here and other odds & sods.
Delivery
We deliver to Hillhurst-Sunnyside Farm Market from 3:30 to 6:30 on Wednesdays. Pickup is at our booth.

Hi there,
I’m very interested in receiving a half share this year, do you have more information you can share?
Thanks very much!
Kristen

We won’t be running our CSA this year. We are still unsure of the growing conditions in our new home and don’t want to dissapoint. We will be growing vegetables and selling what we do produce at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Farmers Markets on Wednesdays.
Thanks

Hello,
I am hoping to join your CSA for 2012. Have you started accepting names and payments yet?
